August 1 we went to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver to celebrate B.C. Day. Lonsdale Quay (pronounced "key" we found out that day) is a market similar to The Forks. We took the bus downtown to Waterfront Station and then hopped onto the SeaBus to cross the inlet to North Van.

That's downtown Vancouver in the background.

There was a band playing and tons of people.

The girls got mini-BC flags.
Sasha has purple teeth in this photo because she had grape gelato.
On the SeaBus going back to Vancouver . . .

We took a quick stroll through Gastown on the way to our bus stop.
Sasha took this photo of the famous steam clock.

We had to wait 15 minutes for our bus on the corner of Hastings and Cambie - just on the edge of the downtown East side. Fortunately, it wasn't dark yet.
it's been way too long since I snapped a picture of that clock.
